    What is an MD file?

    Markdown was created by John Gruber and Aaron Swartz in 2004 as a plain-text syntax that reads naturally and converts to HTML. GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) adds tables, task lists and fenced code blocks and is the de-facto standard today.

    ConvertCove converts Markdown to a complete, lightly styled HTML page (or a bare fragment) with GFM support, using the marked library.
